Let’s start with Twitter. Twitter is making it easier to verify your pages. You may be saying out loud. What the heck is Twitter verification? When your page is verified it has a little blue badge next to your Twitter name. This lets your readers know it is really you. Verified page badges are applied only by Twitter.
What types of accounts get verified?
An account may be verified if it is determined to be an account of public interest. Typically this includes accounts maintained by users in music, acting, fashion, government, politics, religion, journalism, media, sports, business, and other key interest areas.

Facebook news. OK, you’ve probably seen multiple people live streaming by now. If you have a newer smart phone you can use the Facebook Mentions app to stream. If you have an older phone the app may not work right for you. Or you might simply prefer to stream directly to your Facebook page using your Laptop/Desk top. Social Media Examiner has an excellent article that will walk you through the process of how to do this with OBS software. Free software you can add to your computer. Every now and then you probably get an invitation to like a someones Facebook page. Sometimes you are able to follow up and sometimes the invite gets lost in all your other notifications. To follow up and see all the pages you’ve been invited to LIKE, click this link.. https://www.facebook.com/pages/?category=invites While you are there you can also take a look at the pages you follow. Keep following the ones you enjoy and unfollow pages you may not be interested in anymore.
Remember, to see more of the pages you enjoy seeing, you have to interact with them. Either like, comment or share content from their pages regularly or Facebook will push them to the bottom of your priority list and not show them to you again.
Kids and online safety! Everyone is online, we are living in the age of technology. Your kids are handed electronic devices as soon as they are old enough to hold them. Before you know it they have their own. How do you parent them and keep them safe online?
