Happy Thanksgiving – A Reflection of Thanks

Share

The pies are out of the oven, the house is clean and we are officially ready for Thanksgiving. By the time you read this it will be Saturday morning and the holiday will be over, i will have shopped my but off and should be relaxing!

As I take a moment to let my thoughts settle and tap into that bubbly feeling I get around the holidays, certain feelings of gratitude stand out for me.

I’m very grateful for this past year. It has been a trying year, but a growing year. I lost my father in May. Leading up to his death was a very difficult experience but also a very awakening experience.

This summer brought a lot of frustration, fear, growth and some disturbing news. Randy was diagnosed with an auto immune disease. We both know disease is dis-ease in the body and that means he gets the opportunity to listen to his body, release old hurts and explore what his body needs to heal. For now I’m going to leave it at that. When he’s ready, we’ll share more.

This year was fun for me having Randy home helping with our Social Media Help 4 U business. We also have a small team who helps when needed. I’m a lucky girl. I’ve been with the man of my dreams for 29 years, I’m surrounded by two incredible sons, a future possible daughter-in-law, a grandson, lot’s of friends and family. And to top it all off I have amazing clients. I believe the universe hand picks our clients. They are simply the best and such a perfect fit.

I don’t take a single day for granted and neither should you.

It’s pretty cool when you hear words like these:

“Because of you we surpassed a million dollars in our business this year.”

“Carol is super smart, helpful and patient. Social media can be very overwhelming for many small business owners, and She’s truly there for you. Reliable and caring too. Two huge orange likeable thumbs up!” ~ Dave Kerpen

Here are two quotes I wanted to share with you before I head off to visit with friends.

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” – Oprah Winfrey

“People are definitely a company’s greatest asset. It doesn’t make any difference whether the product is cars or cosmetics. A company is only as good as the people it keeps.” – Mary Kay Ash

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I wish you a very happy Thanksgiving and a joyful holiday season.

What are you grateful this holiday season? Please share in the comments below.
